Hemp Blend Booster
Oh my. Anyone who thought charcoal boosters were the answer for their heavy wetter will love these hemp super-boosters.
We can never quite believe that something this slim can be quite so thirsty, making them an ideal choice for heavy wetters and night-time use. They're so absorbent that when one of our product testers tried these overnight, she panicked that her baby was dehydrated because the insert was so dry! (He wasn't.)
And because they're made from hemp, bamboo and cotton, we're loving their eco-credentials too.
As quick to dry as bamboo (although slower than charcoal) these are also convenient if you're washing a mix of bamboo and hemp.
You can read one of our product tester's reviews here.
Please do holler if you want to talk about which booster is right for you, or have a read of our guide to inserts and boosters.
Available to buy individually as well as in bundles of 5 and 10.
Made from 4 layers with the following composition:
Outer layers: Cotton 55% Hemp 36% Viscose 4.5% Linen 4.5%
Inner layers: Cotton 59% Viscose 41%
Please note that the labels on these inserts may be incorrect. The above is the correct composition.
Wash up to 60 degrees.
Tumble dry on low if necessary, but please line dry when you can.
We know that some of you choose not to pre-wash your nappies and bamboo inserts - but hemp really do need a few pre-washes to create extra absorbency.
It is normal for hemp to shrink slightly when you first wash it. Please don't worry, we have sized them to cope with a little shrinkage! Give your inserts a good tug when they come out of the wash ('reshape whilst damp') - this will resize them nicely and help them to lie nice and flat inside the pocket.
Please don't use fabric conditioner on your nappies or inserts as it makes them less absorbent.

Love this! It’s super absorbent! We put 1 bamboo liner combination with 1 hemp blend booster or a bamboo and charcoal for night use. Only thing we had difficulty on was drying time. We try to always dry all nappies and liners and boosters naturally outside
Bulky but perfect for overnight
I use a charcoal booster wrapped around a hemp booster for overnight. It's the perfect combination and my son stays dry until the morning. The only downside with these boosters is that they are stiffer, bulkier and less flexible than the charcoal boosters. Once dry from the wash you can beat them up a bit to soften them but they do take longer to dry than the other boosters.
