Waving Goodbye To 2020 - Here’s to a Brighter New Year!

Christmas is almost here, and oh boy it feels like we’re all in need of some serious festive cheer!

This year has been a year like no other. From lockdowns to homeschooling, to welcoming a huge number of parents to cloth nappies, 2020 has thrown everything at us… and it’s no secret that we’re ready for a rest!

I wanted to use this blog to say just how proud I am of the team here at Baba+Boo. We simply couldn’t have got through the year without you. Whether it was packing orders with a skeleton crew during our busiest period or launching a huge collection in the midst of a national lockdown, the positivity and dedication from the whole team has truly blown me away. You lovely lot have kept me going, kept me focused and kept me inspired!

A special shout out to my husband Paul and my Dad who between them packed ALL the orders, handled all the deliveries from March until August. All so we could be at home with our children and to keep us all safe.

I also want to give a huge shout out to our community, you guys have truly helped us all get through 2020 and your continued support really does mean the world to me. Thank you for all you do.

It’s safe to say we’re looking forward to putting 2020 behind us and ringing in the New Year. A year which we feel will be full of hope and reconnection. But for now, we’re ready for some time to rest, and some quality time spent with our loved ones. After all, with Brexit on the horizon, we need to make sure we’re fully charged for January!

We’ll be closed on the 23rd until the 4th January, and although we’ll be checking in periodically on emails and on social media, we’re using this time to switch-off.

Any orders from 19th December - 22nd December will be upgraded to Royal Mail 24 and should be there in time for Christmas, however with the current way of the world, we can’t guarantee this… but we will do our best!

Any orders made after the 22nd December will also go out via Royal Mail 24 but these are unlikely to arrive before Christmas.

So, let’s all wave goodbye to a challenging 2020 - what a year it’s been! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and remember to use this time to rest and reconnect. If this year has taught us anything it’s just how important our loved ones are, so let’s make the most of it. Bring on 2021!
