On Friday 20th May from 2-3pm The Nappy Alliance are offering a free webinar aimed at encouraging local councils to learn more about the benefits of reusable nappies.
We think this is a really important step in bringing the topic of reusables and the introduction of incentive schemes to the forefront of those who work for us in their capacity as Local Councillors. We would be really grateful if you could contact your Local Councillor and ask them if they will attend.
You can find out who your Local Councillor is by entering your postcode into this link.
Send them an email using this text which you can copy and paste, and ask them if they would like to attend this free webinar.
Dear Councillor
I am writing to share my concerns about the issue of nappy waste.
One of the best things that councils can do to tackle nappy waste is to incentivise reusable nappy use.
The Nappy Alliance are running an informative free webinar on May 20th from 2pm-3pm for local authorities who might be interested in improving their support for reusable nappies, and as a local resident I want to encourage you to attend. The event will have speakers from successful schemes and nappy libraries, and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions which you might have about reusable nappies.
You can sign up for the webinar here:

If you can’t attend I would encourage you to contact the Nappy Alliance directly to find out more about reusable nappies and how you can encourage residents to use them. Their email address is info@nappyalliance.co.uk.
Thank you!
