Tell me about: How many reusable nappies do I need?

It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Whilst reusable nappies are better for the environment, we're not here to tell you to forget about our convenient friend, the disposable (although we would like you to be just a little less friendly with them!).

A lot of people introduce reusable nappies alongside disposables, and the important thing is to find a system that works for you.

Start with one

Try starting with one and working your way up to full-time use, which is 20 reusable nappies. Alternatively use them just at home, or just during the day. The choice is yours.

A reusable nappy gets changed as often as a single-use one does, so depending on whether you're using them part-time or full-time, and how often you do a wash, you can work out how many you need for your own requirements.

As a rule, 20 nappies is enough for full-time use and means washing them every three days so you always have dry ones.

If your baby uses five disposables a day, you could buy five reusables to try them out for a full day.

Risk-free trial

Our kits offer the best value, and we do a nappy trial which gives you the chance to try out a nappy for a month, and send it back for a full refund if you change your mind.
